By accessing or using our website or visualisation tools, you agree to be bound by these Terms.

2. About the Service

PreviewMyProduct is an AI-powered product visualisation platform. Our widgets, embedded on manufacturer and retailer websites, allow you to upload a photograph of your home and generate a preview showing how selected products (such as garage doors, gates, windows, or fencing) would appear when installed.

3. Use of the Visualisation Widget

3.1 Acceptable Use

You may use the visualisation widget for personal, non-commercial purposes to preview products on your own property. You agree not to:

• Use the service to generate previews for commercial resale or distribution.
• Upload images you do not own or have the right to use.
• Upload images containing identifiable persons without their consent.
• Attempt to bypass usage limits, rate limits, or security measures.
• Use automated tools, bots, or scripts to interact with the widget.
• Reverse-engineer, copy, or replicate any part of the platform.

3.2 Usage Limits

The visualisation widget is subject to per-session and per-day usage limits to ensure fair access for all users. If you reach these limits, you will be notified and may try again later.

4. AI-Generated Previews — Important Disclaimer

The product visualisations generated by our platform are AI-generated approximations only. They are intended to give you a general impression of how a product may look on your property.

• Previews are not exact representations of how the final installed product will appear.
• Colours, textures, proportions, lighting, and shadows may differ from reality.
• Previews do not account for structural, technical, or installation requirements.
• No purchase decision should be made based solely on a preview. Always consult directly with the manufacturer or installer for accurate product specifications.

We accept no liability for differences between a generated preview and the actual installed product.

5. Intellectual Property

5.1 Our Platform

All content on the PreviewMyProduct website, including text, graphics, logos, software, and design, is the property of Vernovision (Pty) Ltd and is protected by South African intellectual property law. You may not copy, reproduce, or distribute any part of our website without written permission.

5.2 Your Uploads

You retain ownership of any photographs you upload. By uploading a photograph, you grant us a limited, temporary licence to process that image solely for the purpose of generating your requested preview. We do not claim ownership of your images.

5.3 Generated Previews

AI-generated previews are provided for your personal use. You may share previews with the relevant manufacturer or installer for the purposes of obtaining a quote. You may not use generated previews for commercial purposes, advertising, or public distribution without our written consent.

6. Lead Information

When you submit your contact details through a lead capture form within the widget, your information (name, email, phone number) and visualisation results will be shared with the manufacturer or retailer whose website you are using. This is so they can follow up on your product enquiry. Please refer to our Privacy Policy for full details on how your information is handled.

7. Availability & Accuracy

• We aim to keep the service available at all times but do not guarantee uninterrupted access.
• We may update, modify, or temporarily suspend the service without notice for maintenance or improvements.
• Product catalogues displayed in the widget are provided by the respective manufacturer and may not reflect current availability or pricing.

8. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by South African law:

• We provide the service "as is" without warranties of any kind, express or implied.
• We are not liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the service or reliance on any AI-generated preview.
• Our total liability to you for any claim shall not exceed R500.
• We are not responsible for the products, services, pricing, or conduct of any manufacturer or retailer whose website hosts our widget.

9. Third-Party Websites

Our widget is embedded on third-party manufacturer and retailer websites. We are not responsible for the content, policies, or practices of those websites. Your use of those websites is governed by their own terms and conditions.

10. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of South Africa. Any disputes arising from these Terms shall be subject to the jurisdiction of the courts of the Western Cape.
